The Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra performs masterworks of the orchestral repertoire, as students hold themselves to a high level of discipline, preparation and musicianship. Nearly all members of RSYO study with private instructors and all are leaders in their school programs.

This performance will include the first movement of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto featuring violinist Kerson Leong, Junior First Prize Winner of the Menuhin Competition Oslo 2010. This is a preview of what is to come when Richmond hosts the Menuhin Competition in 2020!

Concert is free and open to the public.
