The Richmond Symphony invites you to enjoy a free outdoor concert on Saturday, May 30 at 7:00 pm. Bring a blanket, picnic basket and family and friends, and enjoy the sounds of a live orchestra at the beautiful Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield, VA. The evening will be led by Associate Conductor, Keitaro Harada and includes selections from My Fair Lady, What’s Up at the Symphony? (Bugs Bunny’s Greatest Hits), Suite for Orchestra from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and more!
Arrive early for a pre-concert performance by the Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra Program beginning at 5:00 pm.
This concert is FREE and open to the public (no ticket required). A $7 parking fee applies.
In the event of rain, this concert will be held without a pre-concert performance on Sunday, May 31 at 7:00 pm at James River High School, 3700 James River Road, Midlothian, VA 23113.
