A Viennese New Year concert is heralded as the most important classical music concert worldwide. We are bringing this special event all the way from Vienna, Austria to Richmond, Virginia with our Altria Masterworks performances of A New Year in Vienna. Ring in 2018 with Johann Strauss, Jr., and other composers on Saturday, January 13 at 8pm and Sunday, January 14 at 3pm. Featuring stunning vocals from members of the Virginia Opera Emerging Artists and the Richmond Symphony Chorus.

Join us an hour before each concert for a free pre-concert talk with the Richmond Symphony Music Director, Steven Smith. These talks provide you with insight into the concert you are about to hear.
