Rebecca Jilcott
Rebecca Jilcott is conductor of the Richmond Symphony Camerata Strings. Ms. Jilcott graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Music Education. She began her teaching career in Chesterfield County, where she is now the Director of Orchestras at Matoaca Middle School. She was the former Director of the Chesterfield Summer Strings Program, and still finds time to guest conduct orchestra events throughout the region including Orchestra Project, a summer music camp co-hosted by the Richmond Symphony and VCU. Ms. Jilcott is a member of the Music Educators National Conference, Virginia Music Educators Association Music Camp Staff, National String Association, Virginia. Education Association and a former member of the Petersburg Symphony.
